Fixings Warehouse was founded in 1992 and started trading from a small industrial estate in rural Pluckley just outside Ashford in Kent selling mainly fixings, screws, nails, nuts and bolts. The business grew steadily until 2000 when it simply outgrew its premises and a second unit was opened in Ashford itself.
A new larger store at the top of nearby Charing Hill was opened in 2002 replacing the unit at Pluckley and this was followed by a branch in Maidstone in 2005. The Maidstone store relocated to Aylesford in 2014 giving Fixings Warehouse 3 large premises and opening the door to increased levels of stock plus many exciting new brands.
